Introduction to Aerial Arts

**For ages 13+

Build a solid foundation of aerial knowledge in this 6-week intro course* for aerial arts! Learn basic skills, strengthen your aerial muscles, and explore movement on three aerial apparatuses: lyra (aerial hoop), sling (aerial hammock), and silks (aerial fabric). The focus of this class is on safety, proper form, and confidence building... because everything is just a little different (and in the instructors' opinions better) in the air!

*This class prepares students for all Level 1 aerial classes the Stevens Point studio offers, and must be taken prior to enrolling in any other aerial classes

Croi Kids

A fun class where students ages 5-12 can learn hands on aerial sling dance, as well as how to incorporate floor movements into aerial skills. This class will also help children understand how to choreograph their own pieces and the basics of putting together a performance. This is running as a 4 week course, with class openings for up to 8 students! Hope to see you there!

Class rules
- Parents must walk children into class and also come in for pick up.
- masks are optional, but recommended for those not vaccinated.
-students must be on time and also be picked up at the correct time.

Beginner/Intermediate Aerial Silks Skills Class

Explore shapes, tricks, and sequencing all while learning the foundational skills of aerial silks! For beginner and intermediate level aerial silk students who have completed the intro to aerial arts course. 

Aerial Sling Skills Class

All levels welcome, from just out of Intro to Advanced level sling!

Aerial Lyra Skills Class

All levels welcome - from just out of Intro to Advanced level Lyra!

Restorative Aerial Yoga

Relax and unwind at the end of the week with this restorative aerial yoga class. Restorative yoga uses props like bolsters, blocks, blankets and a low aerial hammock (about a foot off the ground) to help support your body, relax and rest deeply with this restorative flow.

Restorative flow is said to help improve digestion, reduce blood pressure and muscle tension, help with insomnia, and help with fatigue! All level welcome to this 60 minute class with no prior aerial or yoga skills required.
